I was born in 1957 in Morgan County, Indiana. I experienced the call to ministry at age twelve and have never considered doing anything else. I graduated from the Eminence High School of Eminence, Indiana in 1975, earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Milligan College in 1979 and a Masters of Divinity from the Emmanuel School of Religion in 1985. I married in 1979 and my wife (Mikel) and I have raised three children along the way and currently have four grandchildren. Beginning with a part time youth ministry while at Milligan College, I have ministered with the Mountain View Church of Christ in Johnson City, Tennessee, Harmon Chapel Christian Church in Shady Valley, Tennessee, Drexel Gardens Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana and from 1995 to the present, Indian Run Christian Church. I love the Lord Jesus Christ and would be overjoyed to talk to you about Him.

MORE ABOUT US... If you are unfamiliar with the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ the following information may be of interest to you. We are non-denominational. Each congregation exists as an independent entity with the ties of brotherhood in Christ binding all congregations together. We have no central headquarters or decision making body above the congregational level. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper at every worship service. The communion service is open to all regardless of congregational or denominational affiliation. We believe this is a matter between the individual believer and the Lord. This is based on our best understanding of the practice of the early church as recorded in the New Testament and our desire that the observance should always be available to meet the needs of believers. We practice baptism by immersion of confessing believers for the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. All are welcome to worship with us at any time but congregational membership is limited to those who have been so baptized. This also is based on our best understanding of the command of Christ and the practice of the early church as recorded in the New Testament. If there is anything else you would like to know about this congregation or any questions regarding the information above, please feel free to give us a call at any time. If you would like to be added to the mailing list for our newsletter send us a note or send an e-mail to ircc44730@yahoo.com.
